FUND A BOREHOLE

Project Overview

Partnering with Abbas Daughter Ministries in October 2025, Mission City Church in Kamuli, Uganda drilled a borehole in Namisambya, Kamuli, Uganda.

Community Need

Namisambya comprises 13 villages with over 20,000 people relying on few existing boreholes. Villages including Busige, Bulondo, Budhudhu, Buterimire, Bulwamaza and Bugulumaire often have 1/2 boreholes that break down due to overload, forcing people to walk miles for clean water.

When boreholes fail, many resort to swamps and wells, leading to waterborne diseases.

Impact

With the new borehole in Bulondo village, nearby communities can fetch water safely and frequently, improving health and hygiene. Access is now minutes away for many households.

What's Next

Mission City Church plans to drill 3–4 more boreholes in Budhudhu, Busige and Bulwamaza to prevent overload and expand clean water access. Your support makes the difference.
